Legit Status will be headlining their own concert on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City to raise funds for the team’s financial care (specifically, airfare tickets and expenses while in Las Vegas) to be able to represent the Philippines in the 2011 World Hip Hop Dance Championships in July.
Many other talented dance crews from both college and high school divisions such as Skechers Streetdance Battle champions UP Street, the Company of Ateneo Dancers, La Salle Greenhills’ Air Force, as well as AC Dance Troupe and the CSA Dance Troupe, among many others, are part of the list of performers. UP’s The Crew and other professional dance groups will also be participating in the concert, making it one of the biggest gatherings of the best dance acts in the Philippines.
The successful Legit Status fundraising concerts held every year for the past two years were able to sell all the tickets, and were well-received by both guests and mall-goers. Over 1300 audience members were present in last year’s event.
This year’s concert aims to raise even more funds, and Legit Status is currently in the process of accepting sponsors in exchange for exposure during the event. Promotions will extend to the audience, media, and performers who can endorse your products throughout the event. Given the variety of schools and number of audience members participating in this event, it will surely be a very good opportunity to get easy advertising to a large amount of people.
